It’s the End of the Year TBR
Hello Hello! I hope you’re all having a great week wherever you are!
Can you believe we’re nearing the end of 2020? I can hardly believe it myself. This has felt both like the longest and shortest year of my life. Yet, I have read so many books this year! Last year I only managed to read 65 books; as of writing this post I am currently at 127! My goal for the month of December was to hit 130 books and I know that I’ll be able to reach that goal. My other goal is to simply read whatever I feel like reading, whenever I feel like reading it. I’m a mood-reader through and through, yet I always like to make a TBR (to be read) list to give myself some form of structure for the month. (Seeing if I follow it is another thing entirely!)
I have a pretty simple tbr pile for this month. From left to right:
- The Crown’s Game – Evelyn Skye
- The Picture of Dorian Gray – Oscar Wilde
- The Luxe – Anna Godbersen
- The Little Red Writing Book – Brandon Royal
- The Little Book of Hygge – Meik WIking
- The Art of Making Memories – Meik Wiking
- American Cozy – Stephanie Pedersen
- The Great Gatsby (Graphic Novel) – F. Scott Fitzgerald, Fred Fordham (Adapted by), Aya Morton (Illustrations)
Currently I’m physically reading The Crown’s Game, a little bit every night before I go to bed. Reading before bed with a booklight has really helped me to fall asleep more easily. I’m also listening to Now I Rise by Kiersten White on Libby, and I’ll more than likely finish that one today. That’s kind of it for my current reading. I’ve been reading my favourite Christmas stories and flying through some smaller books but I haven’t made a huge dent in my tbr pile. Ah well, I still have more than half a month left to get going on them!
I hope your reading is going well this month! And even if you only manage to read one book this month, that is still one more book than a lot of people are able to read and you should be proud! Ta for now.
xoxo Juju
